The assistant

The assistant answers questions about the program, such as “Where do I find the map?”. Below the answer are buttons that take you straight to the place.

Asking a question

    Open the assistant
    Click the floating bubble at the bottom right, or choose AI, Assistant.

    Type your question
    For example “How do I add a source?”.
  3. 3
    Click Ask
    After a moment the answer is there.

What about my tree?

Ordinary questions go to the provider together with an explanation of the program, without data from your tree.

If you ask something about your own tree, such as “who is the oldest?”, you first get a warning. The data of the people found (at most 25) then goes along. Living people are shielded. You can still cancel.

Setting it up

Under Settings, AI you choose whether the assistant is a Floating bubble or a Window in the layout.
