Adding a person

   New person
   Click the button in the toolbar, choose Person, New person, or press Ctrl+N.

   Type the name
   Fill in the name on the person card, for example Jan Willem Hoogendijk. Saving happens by itself.

   Add facts
   On the Person tab, below the names, you find birth, death and every other event. Each fact can have a date, a place, a note and a source.

Linking family

The family panel shows the parents, partners and children of the selected person. You add a father, mother, partner or child, or link someone who is already in the tree with Link existing person….

With the Go to menu you jump to the father, mother, partner or a child. The Marriage tab shows the marriages, with the ages on the wedding day.

Made a mistake?

Choose Edit, Undo (or Ctrl+Z). Deleting a person can be reversed too.
