The tour

Starting and stopping

The tour starts by itself the first time you start Stambeam after installing, as soon as you have opened or made a tree. The tour does not change anything in your tree.

   Next and Previous
   Use the Next and Previous buttons to move through the steps. The arrow keys and Enter work too.

   Stopping
   Click Skip or press Esc. The last card has Complete.

   Doing it again
   Choose Help, Tour. At the top is Complete tour; below it you can also do one part on its own.

What you see

• The menu bar, the toolbar and the search field (also opened with Ctrl+K).
• Entering people, family and relationships, facts, sources and photos.
• The family tree and the timeline, search and groups, places and maps.
• Reports and export, importing, versions and branches.
• Settings, help and updates, and working together with a hub.
